About Quick Connect
Quick Connect provides limited wireless access. Quick Connect is only available at OSU Wireless Hot Spots in residence hall locations. Please note: Access into residence hall wireless locations is restricted.
When in a residence hall location only, your mobile device should automatically recognize two SSID's: campus wireless network (SSID osuwireless) and the Quick Connect wireless network (SSID quickconnect). This gives you the option of using either one of the two wireless access methods to connect.
To use Quick Connect, simply select the SSID "quickconnect", then follow these instructions: Quick Connect Instructions. For additional information about Quick Connect, visit: More About Quick Connect.
NOTE: Quick Connect (SSID quickconnect) is not available in any other campus locations. Once you leave a residence hall, if you want to use wireless in designated locations on campus, your mobile device must be properly configured and your OSUWireless ID and PIN must be used to log on.
